This series contains the general correspondence files for the United Pueblos Agency. Topics covered in the correspondence relate to statistical information, administration, finances and accounting, land, building and building equipment, supplies and farm stock, military service and activities, health and social science, education and schools, industry, and employment. A small volume of earlier records of the Northern and Southern Pueblos Agencies, the Pueblo Indian Agency and Day Schools, and the Santa Fe and Albuquerque Indian Schools is present. Also included are records related to the Council of Southwestern Superintendents.
